Pre-Care: Preparing for Success
- •Avoid Actives (5-7 Days): Stop using Retinol (Vitamin A), Glycolic, or Salicylic acid products.
- •Hair Removal: No waxing, threading, or laser hair removal on the face for 7 days.
- •Recent Procedures: Wait 2 weeks after Botox, fillers, or other chemical peels.
- •Sun Exposure: Avoid intense sun exposure; we cannot treat sunburnt skin.
Aftercare: Protecting your Results
- •Keep it Simple: Use only a gentle cleanser and a hydrating moisturizer for the next 5 days.
- •The SPF Rule: Your skin is sensitive to UV rays. SPF 30+ is mandatory daily to prevent new pigmentation.
- •Avoid Heat: Skip the gym, saunas, and hot showers for 24–48 hours.
- •Don't Pick: In the rare event of light flaking (usually around the nose or mouth), do not pull or scrub the skin.
- •Wait for Actives: Do not resume Retinol or acids for at least 7 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I actually peel like a snake?
Most clients experience little to no visible peeling. You might see some very light "eraser dust" flaking around days 3–5, but you won't need to hide at home.
What does it feel like?
You will feel a mild tingling or "spicy" sensation for a few minutes during application. It is far more comfortable than traditional chemical peels.
How many treatments do I need?
You will see a "glass skin" glow after just one session. For acne or scarring, we recommend a course of 4–6 treatments spaced 7–12 days apart.
Can I have this with Dermaplaning?
