PRP Hair Restoration

The Leading Option for Hair Regrowth

Struggling with hair thinning or hair loss?

PRP hair restoration is an advanced treatment that utilises your body’s platelet-rich plasma to stimulate hair growth. By injecting concentrated platelets into the scalp, PRP therapy promotes hair regrowth, increases hair thickness, and improves overall hair health.

PRP hair restoration involves drawing a small amount of blood, separating the platelet-rich plasma, and injecting it into the scalp to stimulate hair growth. The procedure takes around 1 hour and will require multiple sessions for best results.

Yes, PRP hair restoration is considered safe and effective. It utilizes the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma, reducing the risk of allergic reactions or adverse effects. Additionally, numerous studies have demonstrated the efficacy of PRP therapy in promoting hair growth and improving hair density.

During PRP hair restoration, patients may experience mild discomfort at the injection site. However, discomfort is typically minimal, and many patients find the procedure to be well-tolerated. Topical numbing cream can be applied to minimize any discomfort during the treatment.

PRP hair restoration is suitable for individuals experiencing hair thinning, hair loss, or those looking to improve the overall health and thickness of their hair. It’s a great option for both men and women who want to rejuvenate their hair and promote natural growth

Before PRP hair restoration, it’s important to follow these steps:

Avoid blood-thinning medications, anti-inflammatory drugs, caffeine, and alcohol.

Wash your hair on the day of your appointment and avoid using any hair products.

Drink plenty of water, aiming for at least 2 litres in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment.

Eat a meal before your appointment to ensure you’re well-nourished and hydrated.

LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular activity in the scalp. When used in conjunction with PRP hair restoration, LED light therapy helps enhance the effectiveness of the treatment by promoting circulation, reducing inflammation, and accelerating the healing process, ultimately leading to improved hair growth and thicker, healthier hair. We offer this service complimentary with all PRP treatments.

Combining PRP hair restoration with microneedling enhances the effectiveness of both treatments. Microneedling creates micro-injuries in the scalp, promoting the production of collagen and elastin, which improves skin texture and stimulates hair follicle activity. When PRP, rich in growth factors, is applied topically or injected into the treated area, it further stimulates hair follicle regeneration and accelerates tissue repair. Together, these treatments can result in improved hair density, thickness, and overall scalp health.
